Terms and Conditions

These terms are set by CH Media Inc., doing business as Content Hacker (“Content Hacker,” “we,” “us”). Part A applies to everyone who uses contenthacker.co and its subdomains (the “Site”). Part B applies to clients. Part C applies to both.

Part A: Using our website

1. Using the Site

You may browse the Site and share links to it for personal or business reference. You agree not to misuse it, including by attempting unauthorized access, scraping it at scale, introducing malicious code, or using it for anything unlawful.

2. Our content

The Site’s text, design, graphics, logos and code belong to Content Hacker or are used under license. You may not copy, republish, sell or create derivative works from them without our written permission, except as the law allows, such as fair use.

Content Hacker and its logo are trademarks of CH Media Inc. Other names and logos on the Site belong to their owners and appear for identification or with permission.

The Site may link to third-party websites and tools. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or practices. Their own terms apply.

4. Free tools and resources

Audits, reports, templates and articles on the Site are general information, not professional advice for your specific situation. Results depend on many factors outside our control.

If you believe content on the Site, or on a website we host, infringes your copyright, email slyejoyserrano@contenthacker.co with:

  1. the work you believe is infringed
  2. the page and exact content in question
  3. proof that you own the rights, or are authorized to act for the owner
  4. your contact details

We review every notice. For websites we host, we forward notices to the site owner, who is responsible for its content, and act on valid notices as the law requires.

6. Disclaimer

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.

7. Limitation of liability for the Site

To the extent the law allows, Content Hacker isn’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

Part B: Client services

This part applies to every project we deliver for a client, alongside the proposal or agreement for that project. If a signed agreement says something different, the signed agreement wins.

8. Materials you provide

You’ll provide the text, photos, logos, videos and other materials we need, ideally at the start of the project. You confirm you own them or have the rights to use them on your website and marketing, and you’re responsible for any claim about materials you supply.

9. Stock images and third-party assets

If you ask us to source images, fonts, icons or other third-party assets, we’ll license them from reputable providers, such as Adobe Stock, on your behalf.

  • Each asset is licensed under the provider’s own terms, not owned outright. Those terms set how you can use it.
  • We’ll generate a license record for each asset and hand it to you at project completion.
  • Keep these records for as long as the asset is in use. They’re your proof of license if anyone ever asks.
  • Third-party assets cost extra unless your proposal says they’re included.

Free or Creative Commons assets are used only with your approval, and their license terms are listed in your handover.

10. Handover

At project completion, you’ll receive:

  • the final deliverables
  • license records for any third-party assets
  • access details for the accounts and tools we set up for you

Please save copies in your own records. Ownership of the deliverables we create passes to you once the project fee is paid in full. Third-party assets remain subject to their own licenses.

11. Project files and retention

We clear working project files 90 days after a project ends, or at our year-end cleanup, whichever comes first, unless you have an active retainer or agreement with us. After that, we can’t recover files, drafts or records, so please keep your handover package safe.

Billing and tax records are kept for the period Philippine law requires. See our Privacy Policy for details.

12. Approval and acceptance

We’ll send drafts for your review. If we don’t receive feedback within seven days of delivery, the work is treated as approved. Once you accept the work, you’re responsible for how it’s used, changed or reused afterward, including on other websites, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

13. Hosting is separate from development

Hosting covers keeping your website online, secure and backed up [confirm what your plan includes]. It doesn’t include content changes, new pages, image replacements, or reviewing content for rights and licenses. Those are quoted as separate work, or covered by a care or retainer plan.

You’re responsible for the content on your website, including anything you or others add after handover.

14. Claims and notices

If you receive a copyright, trademark or legal notice about your website, forward it to us promptly. If the notice concerns work we delivered within the past 90 days, we’ll help review it. Otherwise, we can assist as a separate engagement.

15. Limitation of liability for services

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any project is limited to the fees you paid for that project. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost revenue or search rankings.

Part C: General

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Makati City.

17. Changes

We may update these terms and will post changes here with a new “Last updated” date. For client projects, the version in effect when you sign your proposal or agreement applies to that project.
